Privacy Policy

What we collect

Offload collects the minimum amount of data needed to function:

• Task input text you submit for extraction. It is sent to our AI provider to generate tasks.
• Anonymous behavioral analytics from the web app and native iOS app, such as app opens, onboarding progress, capture-mode selection, extraction outcomes, reminder-permission outcomes, and reminder handoff completion.
• Basic technical data such as device type, platform, language, app version, build number, and crash or diagnostic data collected by our hosting and analytics providers.

What we do not collect

• No name, email address, or personal profile is required to use the service.
• No payment information. Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple.
• No advertising identifiers.
• No location data.
• No raw brain-dump text, transcript text, extracted task titles, reminder content, or reminder list names in analytics events.

How we use your data

Brain dump input is used solely to generate extracted tasks and return them to you.

Anonymous analytics and crash diagnostics help us understand what is working so we can improve the product and the reliability of the service without profiling you for advertising or tracking you across other apps and sites.

Third-party services

• Anthropic, which processes submitted task input text to extract tasks.
• Cloudflare Pages, which hosts the public website and legal pages.
• Vercel, which hosts the extraction API used by the demo and native app backend.
• Apple App Store, which manages in-app subscriptions.
• PostHog, which provides anonymous product analytics and crash diagnostics for the web app and native iOS app.

Data retention

We do not intentionally store submitted task input after task extraction is returned, except for short-lived infrastructure logs that may be created during processing. Anonymous analytics data may be retained for up to 12 months. We do not sell data to any third party.

Children's privacy

The app is designed for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your rights

Because we do not collect personal data tied to your identity, there is generally nothing for us to delete or export on request. If you have concerns, contact us at riznewhite@gmail.com.
